ABOUT / PEOPLE AND ORIGIN

Built in Canada.
A practical framework for human–AI orchestration.

SPM is a Canadian-developed management protocol for people working with AI orchestrators. Our founders developed it in response to Canada’s call to advance practical, trustworthy AI adoption. Through successive protocol releases and a working reference implementation, we have built a foundation that others can study, apply and improve. SPM is designed to carry roles, knowledge and working records across supported AI models and environments.

ORIGIN AND CONTEXT

The team’s own response
to a national direction.

Canada has set out to build trust, skills and adoption around AI. SPM is the founders’ practical contribution to that direction.

In September 2025 the Government of Canada launched an AI Strategy Task Force and a public engagement, including a national sprint inviting Canadians’ input on adoption, trust and skills. In June 2026 it set out Canada’s AI for All strategy, with priorities of trust, opportunity and Canadian sovereignty.

This describes the founders’ stated motivation and Canadian origin. It does not mean the Government of Canada initiated, commissioned, funded, approved or endorsed this project, and the Institute has no official affiliation with it. The protocol is intended for open release; the exact licence will be stated with the published release.

Works at the intersection of business analysis, systems thinking, and applied AI. His approach emphasizes clear requirements, traceable decisions, defined responsibilities, and evidence-based validation. He is particularly focused on developing repeatable methods for coordinating specialized AI agents and human operators within structured operating environments.
Contribution to SPM
Leads operational oversight and contributes to the development, refinement, and practical application of the SPM protocol. His work emphasizes translating the protocol into actionable workflows, establishing clear boundaries between human judgment and agent autonomy, and improving coordination across human operators, AI agents, and technical systems. His guiding principle is to minimize unnecessary human intervention while preserving accountability, verification, and human authority over consequential decisions.
